Spitfire
(1934) - You'll find it difficult to find a Brit who lived through
the Battle of Britain who doesn't consider the Spitfire the best piston
driven fighter ever made. They can make a case for it too. This exciting
aviation t-shirt is from an old English cigarette trading card. (Shown
on a small t-shirt.)

Junkers G-38
(ca. 1930"s) This fascinating airplane was developed by the German
Junkers company in the late 1920's and put into service around 1931. It flew
a passenger route for Lufthansa between Berlin and London for a while and
actually held some world records in the early '30's. I sure would like to
see one these days, but this aviation t-shirt is as close as we'll get probably
ever get! (Shown on a small t-shirt.)

Besnier
- Back in 1678, a French locksmith named Besnier launched himself
from the roof of a barn with a device like that shown here and it is said
he cleared a house and landed on top of another barn! As a consequence of
this daring-do he is credited with the first attempt at flight. This is your
chance to honor this aviation pioneer! (Shown on a small t-shirt.) ORDER

Douglas Biplane
- Back in 1924, four Army pilots flew one of these things around the world
in just 175 days! They deserved at least a t-shirt for such an effort is what
I think, and so do you. (Shown on a small t-shirt.)

Listening to
the Beam - (Cigarette card, ca. 1930's) - In this exciting cutaway view,
we can see the pilot and navigator "listening to the beam", directing
their aircraft to a successful landing. This imaginative card depicted something
that was still in the near future when it was published; little did they know
that it would be featured in your favorite t-shirt! (Shown on a small t-shirt.)

Vulcan
- (ca 1950's) The Vulcan, built by A.V. Roe, was Britain's top of the line
bomber defense during the Cold War and the very first delta winged bomber.
Also, late in 2007, it was featured on a nifty t-shirt (this one). (Shown
on a small t-shirt.) CLICK

Parseval Dirigible
(Cigarette card - 1910) - August von Parseval began designing this impressive
dirigible back in 1901 and finally finished it in 1905. By the end of WW1,
the Germans had built 22 of them and it always excited great interest wherever
it went, especially in beautiful sunsets like this one. Remember this impressive
air machine with an equally impressive t-shirt! (Shown on a small t-shirt.)
